 ABC's of Salvation


Rom 3:10
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Rom 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

 

Man's sinful nature has caused a great gulf to be fixed between him and God.

The first step of salvation is that we MUST accept that we are sinners, and that sin reigns in our lives.
 

Rom 5:8-9
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

 

 Jesus Christ came to earth, lived 33 years without sin, died on Calvary for our sin, and resurrected 3 days later.

The second step of salvation is that MUST believe that Jesus bore our sin on Calvary's cross; and, now resurrected, sits at God's right hand - where He has the power to forgive our sins.
Rom 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.		 Salvation from Hell and God's wrath is received by simply believing Jesus Christ died for you and confessing Him as Lord and Saviour of your life.

The Third Step of salvation  is that you MUST confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Salvation is as simple as A, B, C.

Accept, Believe, and Confess.
